How Therapy Helps
Counselling is a supportive relationship where I use skills such as reflective listening to help you work through difficulties and dilemmas.
In Psychotherapy, I integrate my knowledge of therapeutic processes to support more profound transformation and deeper healing.

I use Somatic techniques to help you access inner wisdom by attending to your subtle bodily sensations.
These practices enhance self-awareness and help you make positive life changes

Hello, I'm Paula. I am a qualified psychotherapist, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I provide in-person therapy for adults, long or short-term, in a convenient West London location.
To help us explore whether we are a good fit, I offer a free 30 minute consultation, either by telephone or in person. Please feel free to book a consultation at your convenience.

I hold an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy and specialise in supporting adults facing various challenges including emotional difficulties, poor mental health, life stressors and neurodivergence such as ASD. Guided by the BACP Ethical Framework, my professional practice upholds ethical standards, and I hold full insurance with enhanced DBS clearance.

I've furthered my expertise with training in Mindfulness and Focusing—valuable somatic skills for enhanced therapeutic progress. With a longstanding interest in Buddhism, I am comfortable with issues related to faith and spirituality, as well as existential, philosophical or secular concerns.

Prior to my training, I earned a first degree in Sociology and Social Policy from Royal Holloway, University of London. I subsequently worked in broadcasting and the arts.

As a Trustee of the Mindfulness Network and a volunteer in community therapy, I am dedicated to contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities.
About Me
My Philosophy
My work blends three Humanistic modalities: Transactional Analysis (analytical), Gestalt (creative) and Person-centred (supportive) including Gendlin's Focusing skills which can enhance therapeutic progress.
My Approach
As a therapist, I am authentic, honest and focused on your best interests. I strive to create the trust you need to express your deepest fears and feelings. I may use gentle experiments to promote shifts in awareness.
Your Needs + Goals
I can help you articulate your therapy goals and keep you on track. I aim to work in the way that best suits you, gently challenging or supporting you based on my clinical experience and your preferences.
Expectations + Outcomes
Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, over time the process should reduce any distress you are feeling; improve your communication skills and enhance your self-awareness and self-compassion.
